Modern classical ~ Ambient ~ Experimental
Pianist and composer Feryanto Demichelis began studying piano at the age of three with Maria Rezzo, at the age of six he won his first competition at Stresa as 1st prize in his category. In the following years he took part in many Italian and international competitions, winning fifty absolute first prizes as a soloist and in a piano duo with Elisabetta Pitotto.
In 1994/1995 he participated in an orchestra conducting masterclass in Lugano invited by Richard Schumacher, and in the two-year period 1995/1996 he began an intense concert activity as a soloist in Switzerland, Italy and Indonesia (his country of origin).
In 2007 he recorded, as a soloist pianist, part of the soundtrack of "The sweet and the bitter", a movie by Andrea Porporati. At the end of 2008 he recorded and produced the album "Velo di Maya" for piano, drums and cello.
Since 2009 he is artistic director and classical and modern piano teacher at the MusicAvanguardia school of music in Rivoli. In 2014 he founded the trio Koneskin, where he was keyboardist, singer and composer.
