Luis Diego Villalobos is a pianist, composer and producer from Costa Rica. His music is characterized by harmonic contrasts and rhythmic changes, always looking for a circular effect on his music. His compositions avoid melodic lines and look more for a blend of sound textures, using a minimum amount of resources, his music explores new ways to evoke scenarios by bringing images, colors and sensations out of the instruments. Villalobos has written music for solo instruments, ensembles, rock bands and electronic instruments, experimenting with different genres and techniques, although most of his music uses the piano, keyboards and synthesizers. In his career, he has not only composed and arranged music but he has also produced several songs, albums and artists.
