Italian-Croatian pianist and composer born in Fano, he studied at the Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro where he graduated with top marks, honors and special mention in 2002. He was subsequently admitted to the International Piano Academy “Incontri col Maestro” in Imola where he perfected his skills with Maestros Valentini, Rattalino and Petrushansky, and studied composition with Maestro Di Bari. He has also participated in numerous masterclasses with the most important masters in the world, including Lortie, Kocsis, Scala, Risaliti, Soriano, Gavrilov and has won numerous prizes in national and international competitions. He has an intense concert activity and has played in the most important concert halls in Italy and abroad, both as a soloist and with orchestra. In this sense, his performance of Beethoven’s Third Concerto and Prokofiev’s Second under the direction of Seichkin deserves special mention. His musical interests are multifaceted, and in addition to classical music, they range from jazz to rock music. His frequentation of contemporary music has led him to be the protagonist of first performances of original music, such as Piano Store for six pianos by the composer M. Giuntoli, and La Fabbrica abbandonata by the composer G. Katzer, performed with the Cantelli Orchestra of Milan under the direction of A. Pestalozza. He was also a Maestro Collaboratore at the Verdi Conservatory of Milan. His recording debut is with Urania Records and is dedicated to the complete original piano music of Chick Corea, including works in world premiere recording. In 2024 his second album was released: Queen Piano Transcriptions, dedicated to his own piano transcriptions of music by Queen. He is currently Professor of Orchestra for the Milan Symphony Orchestra and is part of the artists of Candlelight Concerts by Fever, where in addition to the classical repertoire he plays his own transcriptions of rock greats such as Guns ‘N Roses and Queen throughout Europe, performing in prestigious venues such as the National Observatory of the Côte d’Azur in Nice and the Senftöpfchen Theatre in Cologne.
